The Challenge

Kärcher operates within a product environment that is both technically detailed and globally distributed. This was the most important catch for us in the project. The platform was supposed to handle high concurrent traffic without performance drops. It needed to provide accurate, real-time search results across technical product attributes. The challenge was less cosmetic and more architectural. We had to reinforce the system at infrastructure, caching, database, and deployment levels simultaneously.
