100% Money-Back Guarantee – Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose of This Guarantee

This page explains how the Emizentech 100% Money-Back Guarantee works for both parties in the engagement, i.e., what it means for you as the client and for Emizentech. It applies to new engagements initiated through our Hire Developer and Hire Dedicated Team services, starting on the date your hired resource begins active work on your project.

The intent is simple: if the resource we place genuinely does not fulfill the agreed requirement within the first 14 days, you shouldn’t have to pay for it. At the same time, this guarantee exists alongside a fair working relationship. It assumes both sides engage in good faith, provide what’s needed on time, and give the arrangement a real chance to succeed.

2. What Triggers the Refund – Read This Carefully

This is not a general “change of mind” refund. The 100% Money-Back Guarantee applies specifically when the hired resource does not fulfill the agreed-upon requirement, meaning the scope, skill set, or deliverables outlined in your signed Statement of Work (SOW), job description, or requirement document at the time of hiring, within the first 14 days of active engagement.

In practice, this means that if the developer or development team member placed with you clearly lacks the skills, experience, or capability described in the requirement or fails to deliver against it despite reasonable time and cooperation from your side, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for that 14-day period. No partial deductions, no hidden retention.

General dissatisfaction that isn’t tied to the documented requirement, for example, personality mismatch, communication style preferences, or scope you decide to expand mid-engagement, doesn’t automatically qualify. In those cases, we’d still rather work it out with you (see Section 5), but it sits outside the strict guarantee.

3. The 14-Day Window

The 14 days start counting from the resource’s confirmed start date for active work, not from your contract signing date or from onboarding calls or planning sessions. We’ll confirm this start date with you in writing (email is fine) once your hired expert begins.

You need to raise the concern before day 14 ends. Requests made after the window has closed are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at Emizentech’s discretion, but they are no longer automatically covered under this guarantee. This cutoff protects both sides; it gives you a clear, generous evaluation period, and it gives us a defined point where the engagement is considered accepted and moves into standard delivery.

4. What You Can Choose

If the requirement was not fulfilled within the window and you raise it in time, pick one:

  • 100% Money-Back Guarantee – The amount paid for the 14-day period is refunded in full to your original payment method, typically within 7-10 business days of approval.
  • Free replacement – We onboard another vetted expert against the same requirement at no extra cost.

To help us verify the claim quickly and fairly, please point us to the specific part of the requirement that wasn’t met: a task, a skill, a deliverable. This isn’t a bureaucratic hurdle; it’s what lets us approve refunds fast without back-and-forth.

5. Client Responsibilities

For the guarantee to apply cleanly, we ask that you hold up your end during the 14-day window, since a fair evaluation depends on it:

  • Provide the requirement, scope, or job description in writing before the engagement starts, so “fulfilled” and “not fulfilled” mean the same thing to both sides.
  • Give the hired resource reasonable access, information, and feedback needed to do the work; an evaluation period isn’t fair if the resource was left without direction or tools.
  • Raise concerns as they come up, rather than waiting until day 13 to mention a problem that was apparent on day 2.

If a requirement was vague, incomplete, or changed significantly after the engagement started, we’ll work with you to clarify or re-scope it, but that scenario is handled as a scope conversation, not automatically as a guarantee claim.

6. What’s Not Covered

A few things sit outside the guarantee, and we’d rather be upfront about them than bury them:

  • Engagements past the 14-day mark, unless Emizentech has agreed in writing to extend the window.
  • Dissatisfaction unrelated to the documented requirement (e.g., preferring a different working style, project paused on your end, budget changes).
  • Delays or shortfalls caused by the client, like late feedback, missing access/credentials, incomplete requirement documents, or scope added after the engagement began.
  • Any setup or onboarding fees explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase, if applicable.
  • Work product, code, or deliverables already handed over within the first 14 days must not be used.

Emizentech reserves the right to review the requirement document, communication history, and delivered work before approving a refund to confirm the claim reflects an actual gap in fulfillment rather than a scope or expectations mismatch.

7. “Clutch Verified” – What It Means

You may see this guarantee labeled “Clutch Verified.” This refers to Emizentech’s presence and client reviews on Clutch.co, an independent B2B ratings platform, which reflects our standing there, and not a formal review or endorsement of this specific guarantee by Clutch. We’d encourage you to look at our Clutch profile directly and draw your own conclusions.

8. How to Request a Refund or Swap

Email or contact your account manager directly with your engagement ID, start date, and the specific part of the requirement you believe wasn’t met. We’ll confirm receipt within 1 business day and, once the claim is reviewed and approved, we’ll process refunds or begin the search for a replacement within 3 business days.

9. Emizentech’s Position

This guarantee is offered in good faith to make hiring through us low-risk for you. It is not, however, an open-ended right to a refund for any reason. It’s tied specifically to whether the agreed-upon requirement was fulfilled. Emizentech reserves the right to decline a claim where the evidence shows the requirement was substantively met, where the shortfall was caused by the client’s own delays or missing input, or where the claim is raised outside the 14-day window without a prior written extension.

Where a claim is disputed, Emizentech and the client agree to first attempt a good-faith resolution directly before pursuing any other remedy available under the Master Service Agreement.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update this guarantee from time to time. Pricing, window length, or eligibility may change for new engagements. Any updates apply going forward only; if you’re already inside your 14-day window when a change is made, the terms you started under still apply to you.

11. Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask before you hire, not after. Reach us at info@emizentech.com +1 (989) 535-9295 and we’ll walk you through exactly how this applies to your situation.
