Emizen Tech Private Limited has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 after an assessment of its quality management system by Excellence Certification Services UK Limited (ECS UK).
The certificate number EC024ED562 was issued on November 6, 2024, and runs until November 5, 2027, subject to surveillance audits along the way. The scope covers web and desktop software, applications, mobile app development, maintenance, training, and professional consultancy for software development. In other words, close to everything the company does out of its Jaipur office, not one department is carved out to make the audit easier.
What the standard actually checks
ISO 9001:2015 is the current version of the international standard for quality management systems. It is not a stamp of approval on any single product, and it does not say a piece of software is bug-free. What an auditor wants to see is evidence – in writing and in practice – of how work gets planned, who signs off, what happens when something goes wrong, and how the fix is verified afterward. For a services company, this puts the audit squarely on day-to-day habits: requirement gathering, code review, release approval, defect logging, client communication, and how complaints are handled once a project has shipped. What it means if you work with us
The benefits here are practical rather than dramatic. Processes are documented, so a project does not live inside one developer’s head. Roles are defined, so escalation has a name attached to it. Records are kept and retained -which matters more than people expect, particularly to enterprise procurement teams and to clients whose own compliance obligations pass down to their vendors. Across the industries we serve -finance, healthcare, logistics -clients tend to ask about this on the first call now, not the fifth. None of it is ring-fenced to one team either. The same review gates apply whether an engagement runs six weeks or a year. Smaller projects are usually where process quietly disappears, so that was the part we watched hardest during the internal audit. Mobile app development picked up the most visible changes -release checklists, device test records, a named sign-off before anything goes to the stores. Web development work follows the same review stages. eCommerce development services carry their own risks: payment flows, third-party integrations, migrations that have to happen without dropping live orders. Those now sit under documented change control rather than a developer’s judgement on the day.
From the team
“Most of what the auditors reviewed, we were already doing,” said Amit Samsukha, Co-Founder/CTO at Emizentech. “We’ve been building software since 2013, and you don’t last that long without some discipline behind it. What forced it was consistency – writing it down, making sure the process on a two-person project looks like the process on a forty-person one. That part was overdue, honestly.” Preparation ran across several months and touched documentation far more than it touched engineering. The delivery workflow was mapped end to end. Project initiation and sign-off records were standardized. Mid-project change requests got a tighter logging process, and teams were given measurable objectives to be reviewed against. Internal audits and a full management review came before ECS UK ever showed up. “The interesting part wasn’t passing,” said Ajit Jain, Quality Manager. “It was the internal audit that came before it. You find the small gaps – a handover that only ever happened verbally, a test record nobody had updated in three sprints. None of it was dramatic. All of it was worth fixing. And now there’s a schedule that makes us look again every year, instead of whenever someone remembers.”What happens next
Surveillance audits are due annually through to the certificate’s expiry in November 2027. The intention is to keep the system in daily use rather than dust it off a fortnight before each visit, so quality objectives now sit inside the regular management review cycle rather than in a folder somewhere. The certificate can be verified directly with ECS UK at www.ecscert.co.uk using the certificate number above.About Emizentech
